Everyone has feelings all the time. Feeling are not a problem, they just come and go in an instant – in one ear and out the other – or at least, that’s how it should be in a perfect world.
Feelings become a problem when they get stuck somewhere and can’t move along and out as they should. Then you have the original feeling, and the next and the next all piling on top of one another and increasing the pressure until you get physical pain in that area. If the pressure gets too bad, people have panic attacks or throw a fit or start screaming and crying, they have to do something to release the energy build up but that’s a desperate measure.
What we are going to do is to open up the pressure valves and let the feelings flow through and out as they should, and when we do that, you will notice that the physical sensations tell you clearly how much better you feel and how right it is to be doing this.
In your body are channels for this energy to run through and out. Some of these channels haven’t been used in a very long time, but they are there and when we find them, the energy can flow through and just leave your body – sometimes through the skin, sometimes through your hands and feet, sometimes it comes out of your mouth, it’s different for everyone.
We will find the pathways for the energy and release the block that causes the pain.
You work from the inside and I help from the outside and between us, we will be able to free up that part of your body so you can feel these things and they won’t hurt anymore as they flow through and out as they should.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) provides you an opportunity to find some new ways through life’s day-to-day challenges. It provides you with practical tools and techniques to help you cope with life and to importantly; get more from it.
The world around us, what happens on a day-to-day basis is an emotional healing technique, which is based on a revolutionary discovery that violates most of the beliefs of conventional psychology. It contends that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.
Essentially, EFT is a form of “psychological acupressure” – except that we don’t use needles. The approach relieves symptoms by tapping on various body locations.
This tapping balances energy meridians that become disrupted when we think about or experience an emotionally disturbing circumstance. Once balanced, the upset is usually resolved – the memory stays but the emotional charge is gone. Typically the result is lasting and is also accompanied by positive changes in thinking.
Our first consultation will set out to establish the areas of your life you wish to enhance. Together we will, mind map on paper the major areas and concerns you have, in a major heading format without the need to divulge all those private and personal details. This provides us with a preliminary plan to starting making those desired changes. More often than not we have the chance to start tapping your desired changes in that first session.
The “tapping” process is non-intrusive and painless. You remain fully clothed. (the diagram merely shows the tapping points!)
Initially, the consultant will tap the points for you and then you will tap the points as each of the restricting aspects of your situation are addressed. The extent of issues you wish to resolve and the time frame you wish to work with will determine the frequency of appointments.
